This site asks you personal questions about your sex life. We take that seriously. This page explains exactly what we collect, where it goes, and how to get rid of it.

BedCoach LLC is the data controller for the personal data described on this page.

BedCoach publishes a paid educational guide about sexual health and technique for adults. We operate the website bedcoach.org and are the data controller for the information described on this page. You can reach us at any time at support@bedcoach.org.

What we collect

Your quiz answers. When you take the quiz you tell us things like your age band, your goals, how often certain things happen, and what you want to improve. These answers are stored together with your email address.

Your email address. You type this in near the end of the quiz. We use it to send your guide, your receipt, and support replies.

Your payment details — but we never see them. Checkout happens entirely on Stripe's own pages. Your card number never touches our website or our servers. We receive only confirmation that a payment succeeded, plus the email you used.

Your language choice. Stored in your browser's local storage under the key bc_lang so the site shows the right language. It never leaves your device and we cannot read it.

Standard server logs. Our host records IP address, browser type and the page requested, as every web server does, for security and to keep the site running.

The sensitive part — read this one

Answers about your sex life are special category data under Article 9 of the GDPR. They get stronger protection than ordinary data, and we may only process them if you have given us explicit consent.

By choosing to complete the quiz and submit your email, you are giving that consent. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing support@bedcoach.org — we will delete your answers, and withdrawing does not affect anything we lawfully did before.

If you would rather not share these answers at all, you can skip the quiz entirely and still buy the guide. The guide you receive is identical either way.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

To build your plan and show your results — your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) and Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR).
To deliver the guide you paid for and send your receipt — performance of our contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b)).
To answer your support emails — performance of our contract, or our legitimate interest in helping customers (Art. 6(1)(f)).
To keep accounting and tax records — our legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).
To keep the site secure and prevent fraud — our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).

We do not sell your data, rent it, trade it, or use it to build advertising profiles. We do not send marketing email to people who have not bought from us.

Who else touches your data

We keep the list of processors deliberately short:

Google LLC (United States) — your quiz answers and email are written to a private Google Sheet through Google Apps Script.
Stripe, Inc. / Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. — payment processing. Stripe is the controller of your payment data; see stripe.com/privacy.
Vercel Inc. (United States) — website hosting and server logs.
Namecheap / PrivateEmail — our support inbox.

Each of these acts on our instructions under a data processing agreement, except Stripe, which is an independent controller for payment data. We may also disclose data where a law or a valid court order requires it.

Data leaving the EU/UK

Google, Stripe and Vercel are US companies, so your data is transferred to the United States. Those transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. You can ask us for a copy of the safeguards in place.

How long we keep it

Quiz answers and email: 24 months from your last activity, then deleted. Sooner if you ask.
Purchase and invoice records: as long as tax law requires — up to 10 years in most EU countries. This is a legal obligation and we cannot delete these early, but they contain no quiz answers.
Support emails: 24 months.
Server logs: typically 30 days.

Your rights

Wherever you live, we will honour all of the following. If you are in the EU, EEA or UK they are also your legal rights under the GDPR:

Access — get a copy of everything we hold about you.
Rectification — correct anything wrong.
Erasure — have your data deleted ("right to be forgotten").
Restriction — tell us to stop using it while a dispute is resolved.
Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable file.
Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interest.
Withdraw consent — at any time, with no reason needed.

Email support@bedcoach.org and we will act within 30 days. We do not charge for this and we will not ask you why. If you are unhappy with how we respond, you have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no TikTok pixel, no advertising tag and no cross-site tracking of any kind. That is why you never see a cookie banner here.

The only thing we store on your device is your language preference in local storage. You can clear it any time through your browser settings.

Adults only

BedCoach is strictly for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, email support@bedcoach.org and we will delete it immediately.

Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Access to the sheet holding quiz responses is restricted to accounts that need it and protected by two-factor authentication. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach ever affects your rights we will notify both you and the relevant authority within 72 hours, as the law requires.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your data we will update this page and move the date at the top. Material changes affecting sensitive data will be notified by email to customers.
